Cleveland 588 woods are deeper than G25 & XR, but are they just as easy off the deck?

Cleveland 588 Fairwoods are deeper faced than G25 & X2 Hot, but are they just as easy to hit off the deck??? I found a 3 & 5 wood new online for the dirt cheap price of $50 each. Heard great things about them, but wasn't expecting the deep-ish / deeper face. They are supposed to be easy to hit off the deck, but there is a noticeable difference. Can anyone compare? Any thoughts?
