Mizuno MP18 SC - who’s gaming them?

The JPX 919s seem to have stolen the spotlight. I am a little intrigued by the MP18 SCs. Love the design, although I do wonder if the extra help in the 919 Forged would be a better fit for me (7 hcp).

Would love to hear from a few MP18 SC owners. I currently game Ping i200s and have a set of MP5s I use occasionally.

Mph5 are my clubs right now. Probably going to give them up to a friend and play the Cobra line for a few years. Havent played a better set of irons than Mizunos. Olthey really have that feel of no feeling.

If you intend to stick with the same shaft (as in your i200 set), I doubt the MP18's would produce any significant shot differences.
If you would like to try a different shaft, that's another story..........

Head v head in the same shaft, the MP will likely launch a bit higher and definitely spin more.

Yeah - I am not expecting a much different outcome. I do love the Mizuno feel, but the i200s have been an exceptional iron.

Oh wow. Surprised to hear this. I love my 765s right now and am hard pressed to find a competitor other than the 785s. Did you not get along with them? Or were they just that much better?

I love the 765's! Just came across a great deal on the Mizuno's, and had to try them. The head/shaft combo just works really well for me. I find I'm able to fade the ball easier and my draw shot doesn't curve as much with the MP's. I have the Modus 120 X in my 765's, which felt awesome! But I find the C-TAPER X/ Mizuno MP-18SC combo is just phenomenal! Putting the C Tapers in my wedges as we speak
