    Golf purchase regrets...

Since joining THP, I have learned a lot about golf equipment. I have made some purchases based off reviews on THP. Some of them good. Some of them bad. I've made quite a few purchases that was inspired by THP that I love and some that I despise. The items that I've purchased that I love and immediately come to mind are: Bushnell V3 range finder, NDMC MCC4 grips, SeeMore M6, frogger golf towel just to name a few. There are a few items that where THP inspired that I wish I'd never purchased. Is there a purchase that you made, that was inspired by THP, that you regret? This is not a thread on bashing the reviews because not every piece of equipment or training aid helps everyone.

For me, my buyers remorse items are #1. Birdie Ball putting green. Just cheaply made IMO. Like a piece of Styrofoam. Doesn't roll true. #2. Taylormade Speedsleeve. It works if you use it. For me, it's just too much of a hassle taking it on and off the club. #3. Skycaddie. the monthly subscriptions are a killer. Lag time left something to be desired. Does the same as any free smartphone golf app. I will add more as they come to me.

Again, this is not to bash any reviews done by THP staffers or members. Not everything works for every golfer. It's just based off your personal regrets.

Oh boy... I could list off about 15 putters. There's been a whole lot, I'll have to think about my worst a little bit more.

Skycaddie I’ll slightly argue, cause of the specials they have. I have worldwide courses for 3 years for 100 bucks? So 33 a year basically. That’s kinda cheap all things considered?

I can't say I regret any golf purchase whether they were inspired here or not. While not every purchase has worked out the way I hoped, I don't regret trying something in an effort to improve my game.

Can't say I have any regrets. Obviously some stuff has worked better for me than other things. but that is more a fit issue.

The game golf for me. I really like the idea of it, but struggle so much in remembering to tap I rarely use it. I"m sure there's something else, but that's the only one that stands out to me.

I bought the Callaway X-Act Chipper, and my wedge game has been brutal since..... too much time messing with the X-Act, not enough wedge practice.

The only other one I somewhat regret, and it was a gift, is my Pressure Putt Trainer. I think I have only made like 3 "perfect" putts since getting it.... drives me crazy.

I have a dozen or so hybrids and none of them lasted more than a few rounds in my bag. Let’s just say I’m a slow learner and that my 11 year old Titleist driving iron is a fixture in my bag.

No real regrets on purchases, and nothing but good from THP.

I have used and retired several clubs in this first year of play.

I bought infomercial C3i wedges, and used them for a while, but play regular wedges now. Same thing with the iRT3 hybrid. They both served their purpose, but I have moved on.

3W went into the dust bin.

My first set of clubs were stiff flex, and should have been regular, which they are now.

Long irons went by the wayside, in favor of hybrids
Always remember, the same country that invented golf and called it a game, invented bag pipes and called it music.
