Noticed this Pepper tree yesterday walking Cisco and enjoying an afternoon cigar, Quorum Classic Toro. A palm tree somehow/someway rooted itself in the V of this pepper tree, about 5 ft off the ground. Amazing.

It's always cool to see that kind of stuff - when you take the time to notice it!

I used to fish the western sierra's, east of Fresno, CA., and at 7000 ft where I fished there was a 50 ft diameter granite stone with a crack near the top. A small pine tree was rooted and growing in that crack. I guess you don't need dirt sometimes.

I grew up in the Black Hills of South Dakota and would see Pine trees growing out of rock crevices all the time. It always amazed me that it was possible.
