yes, he did!! he was without a driver this week, and couldn't pass up a bargain $5. He hit some nice "stingers" with it!!
It's my course golfinnut, so the price was right
Yeah, the greens on the front were pretty rough, I'll admit that, they were aerated on Sunday afternoon I believe. I dont' know much about mainteance practices, but I'll have to ask the super about the sand and punching. I've usually only seen punched on my previous home course.
Sudseh was right about they rolled ok, of course he dropped in a couple 25 foot bombs, so that may have tainted his view. For early spring, the course still has some areas to improve in, but the fairways were mostly very good and hopefully once the greens recover from the aeration, they should be fine.
I played ok, ended up with 50/49 but the back nine was undone by a 9 and 8 on the two par 5's, sandwiched around 3 pars and some bogeys.
Thanks to Sudseh for coming out. It was good to see him and as always, he is great at helping you keep a positive attitude!!

I hope 91 and 94 aren't considered poor scores. If I get below 95, I'm usually happy!

The score isn't good for me but the lack of quality shots and the mental melt down the last 4 or holes is even worse. But you are correct shouldn't dwell on poor scores, not even in season yet.

The clubs up here are 4/1, at least that is what the email from ghin I keep getting on the 1st and 15th all winter says 4/1
