Chatting with a friend about this delicacy and he says nay, on anything. What say you THPers?

Hard no for me. Although I can't say I haven't had it in a cheesy dip I liked.

Only if you want to die an early death.

I just don't see it; or eat it. Although spiced up and warm, it's edible with tortilla chips.

Just give me guac and salsa.

Never .... it is so bad for you.

Velveeta Yay or Nay?

I don’t buy it regularly but it’s fantastic for a quick homemade Mac and cheese. That’s about all it’s good for besides maybe a queso dip

Yep good for some mac and cheese, or a good grilled cheese sammy.

Yes with Jimmy Dean sausage and rotel tomatoes on tortilla chips. I

Kept a block of Velveeta in the tackle box for years and it never went bad. Pinch off a piece and mold it around a treble hook. Trout love it!

Oh, you meant to eat? Yes, Velveeta works well for Mac and cheese too.

Had some today w/ Rotel in the crock pot. Grilled cheese w/ the slices every now & then.

Yes. Rotel is life.

Only for a dip.

Gross..after eating cheese Velveeta is disgusting.

I can’t remember the last time I had it.... so no for me... then again I’m not a cheese fan per se

Another vote for shells and Velveeta, major comfort food

I would use it with a heat gun to make a temporary roof patch. Otherwise, no.

No, would never purchase or knowingly eat. Super bad stuff!

Yes. Mostly on pastas, in casseroles, for dips, and grilled cheese sandwiches.

It’s NOT unhealthy. It’s almost completely milk, whey, and water. No trans fats, no MUFA’s or PUFA’s, and little sugar.

It is high in sodium, but sodium isn’t the devil for the majority of the population.

Can honestly say I've never had it, unless that was what was used on cheesteaks I've consumed
