Putting Plates

Has anyone used a putting plate to help with their putting training? The two I know of, and I am sure there are others, are Dave Pelz Putting Tutor and The Putting Plates. Just curious what some people that have used these or similar have to say about them.

Use one all the time. Works to help ensure you are starting the ball on your intended line. The gates are typically set for 1* of error which is needed to make a 10 foot putt, .75, or .5*.

If you can’t start your putt on the intended line you will struggle with green reading and distance control.

Adding a gate for the putter head adds to the drills as well.

I use an Eyeline mirror and it has worked very well.
