Good evening. What would you say the minimum shaft insertion depth in an iron hosel is? And would you think .75” is not enough? I’m reshafting my irons with Matrix Program 130 Shafts. I’m using those soft tungsten 10g tip weights to increase the swingweight due to the high balance point. The ends on those tip weights is approximately .25” thick. I noticed even with this thickness, the playing length is still a hair short so I put a piece of cork in the hosel to increase the playing length. But with the cork and tip weight, the amount of shaft in the hosel is only .75”. Not enough?

As far as shaft extenders to lengthen the club I can’t find one small enough to fit the Program 130s due to the thick wall thicknes

should be fine at 3/4" although the shafts will play a little softer (about 1/4 to 1/3 flex if my maths is corrects)

Awesome. I've read a couple threads saying 3/4" may be too short so that's good to know.
