Got out to the local pitch and putt today. My swing was very inconsistent today so not much to say. I did notice that the e12 Soft seems to get good spin from full iron shots. I stuck the green with 9i-7i. Was surprisingly nice off of wedges. It seemed to launch really high of my SW. I'm not sure if it was the ball or my swing, but it seemed to really hot off the face hot and high.

I played a few holes yesterday with my new F9 and the e12 Soft's.
I could really feel the ball compress. Now I see what Bridgestone was talking about with the mid-mantel(2nd layer).
Really liking tis ball and the lower spin from the driver.
    More to follow!

If the weather cooperates, the E12 speed will finally see the outdoors this weekend. It may just be a few holes but I'm excited to see how it performs.

I played with the E12 Speed for a few holes this past weekend, and thought the ball performed pretty well. Off the tee I saw it have comparable distance with TP5x and MTB Black (played both balls on separate holes and when I got out to the fairway they were within 2 yards of each other). The ball flight did seem to be a bit straighter for the E12 speed (which could also be swing dependent). On iron approach shots the ball launched well and had no issue holding a green (the one green I did hit with it ). Off the putter I thought the ball rolled out a bit more than I expected, but that is an easy adjustment to make once I got a few reps with it.

I plan on getting some launch monitor stats either this week or next week, that way I can put some real numbers behind my subjective views of the ball on the course.

I spent last evening hitting sim chips. The e12 soft seemed to roll out a touch more for me, but again, this was sim practice.

Got out yesterday with the e12 Soft for my first 18 in about two months. My swing is in shambles, but on good shots I really liked the feel, especially with my 4W. For whatever reason my 4W was the only club I hit with any consistency and the e12 Soft rocketed off the face. It was long and straight with a medium trajectory (my 4W is 16.5*). It performed great off of the driver as well. It hell the green on iron shots with most of the balls within 28 inches of the pitch mark. Some of that could be due to course conditions. We've been getting record rainfall. It's not the longest ball I've ever hit, but it's a good marriage of distance and feel. About to hit the driving range and look for something that resembles a competent golf swing, then I might play another 18 with the e12 Soft.

I canít think of many better ways to test a ball than 18 holes at The Judge and I came away very impressed.

Very soft at impact. I had a sleeve of Callaway Supersoft with me as well, and the e12ís felt even softer off of every club. I didnít see any crazy jumps in distance but definitely no loss either. Spin on approach shots was right about where it is for me typically. I donít get a ton of backspin but itís usually a hop and stop or backs up just a bit and I saw the same with the e12.

18 more holes tomorrow will give another good test but after today I am very impressed and look forward to getting the ball back on the course

Got the e12 out again today; this time with a respectable swing.I played the RTJ Oxmoor Valley Short Course. I'm still not hitting my irons great, so I'm not seeing a ton of extra distance in that department. I love the feel off the face, as I generally prefer softer golf balls. With that said, I was crushing this thing with my hybrids. Getting about 10 extra yards, and they stayed on the green which is a plus.

I'm generally a straight ball hitter. I don't really hit a draw or fade. Dead straight on well-struck shots, so it's hard to say if this ball is straight. I will say that while I was blocking my irons today (or something like that) I still was in good shape to chip up onto the green. Don't know if that's the ball or luck.

Here is a pic of one of the holes I dislike, but today I launched one to the back of the green (almost over).

Had a chance to get a round in with the e12 soft last week after a 2 month layoff. I played with 2 of my normal playing partners, one who outdrives me by 5-10 yards on average (and who plays EVERY day ), and the other whom we usually end up with the same distance drives. First thing I noticed was the e12 soft feels very similar to the e6 soft. It feels great off the putter. Anyway, first hole I out drove Mr. Everyday player by a couple yards, second hole by a few yards, fourth hole by a couple, it was like this almost the whole round with the exception of a couple wayward out of bounders. I was pleasantly surprised by the distance I was getting, considering my lack of play.

Admittedly, this past weekend had terrible conditions to test a golf ball due to plugging everywhere and some of the softest greens I should see all year but the E12 Speed performed as I expected and not noticeably different (good or bad) than any other ball. In other words, I had no negatives to report. On the plus side, I didn't lose any.

Played a few holes with the e12 Soft, Tour B RX, ERC, and Snell MTB Black. I've been playing the RX for the last year.

Did not like the ERC. Just didn't have a good feel to it and shorter than the rest.

e12 and RX were very similar with the e12 feeling softer. Not sure I got any better results with it. However, with the lower price point of the e12, I will play it a couple more times to further evaluate it.

The MTB Black was clearly the standout. I played it before switching to the RX and now I'm left wondering why? On one hole, I hit the MTB Black and e12 with the driver. I will admit that I really caught the MTB Black flush and it went 40-50 yards further than the e12. Both straight and both in the fairway.

Try as I could, I could not get the kind of results with the e12 that I was getting with the MTB Black.

Do you think you could be overcompressing the e12 or is the MTB Black just that good?

With crappy weather most of my early testing has been just some indoor putting with the e12 speed. I won't lie, the sound of this ball of the putter face while indoors does very little for me. In fact, I think it sounds "cheap", which isn't a term I throw around lightly. It has a higher pitched click sound to me that I just don't like. Outdoors, perhaps that gets masked a bit, and I hope it does.

I did get the chance to take some swings with it last night, and when I did so with a full SW, the spin numbers on those shots were where I thought they'd be, right around 7600 RPM. When I take a quick look back at how that compares to other balls, it ranks nearest to the Soft Feel from Srixon, which surprisingly spun about 300 RPM's more. Now as always as I like to remind, different days, different testing enviournment, and differnet swing as mine seems to change daily haha. I will have more becuase I hit some other clubs with this ball as well.
