Since I will be attending at least 2 rounds of this tournament, thought it would be good to start a thread to document my experience and throw some pictures into. The tournament features 26 of the top LPGA players (only tournament winners from 2017 or 2018 were eligible) and 61 sports stars / celebrities / amateurs (that are competing against each other based on the Stapleford scoring system).

Although my favorite player, Georgia Hall, did not get off to a stellar start today, my plan is to follow her for the full 18 tomorrow. She is playing with Carson Palmer and Brian Urlacher. Will figure out Saturday after tomorrow.

After round 1, Brooke Henderson and Eun-Hee Ji are tied at the top at -6. Lydia Ko and Stacey Lewis are one shot back and 7 others are at -4 or -3.

Good leaderboard after the first round. Lydia off to a good start. Will be interesting to see if this is the year she returns to dominance.
 
Course looks great. Was a long hike to make it back to Georgia Hall's group. Only a hole away.

Urlacher with a big tee ball on 13 to cut the corner over the trap. He is a big human that hits the ball hard!

3 deer were behind the wooden post. Very sunny and hard to see what I am taking a picture of. Lol

Urlacher had 130 in to a back pin on 15. Lol
 
Urlacher with a little pitch left on the 330 yard 16th
 
This group has pulled the pin on every green thus far
 
Feel bad for Urlacher and Palmer. They are getting hounded by 25 - 30 year old autograph seekers when they leave every green.

Saw a bit of this yesterday, and didn't even recognize Lydia Ko - she's obviously working out, and if that translates into additional length, she should be unstoppable!

Georgia and Carson both have eagle putts on 17. Urlacher got wet on his 2nd. Palmer had to be a good 250 and Hall about 10 less than that.
