What makes you want to put a club in your bag for play?

Performance? Numbers? Reliability? Confidence Inspiring?

Because it just feels right?

For me I have to be confident standing over the ball, so if i cant do so with a club then i can put it in the bag. After that its down to performance and reliability. If it can perform well and the mishits aren't to terrible, the its going in the bag.

What about you guys?

It's a combination of things but performance is the number one reason

Driver and iron set stay in the bag but woods and wedges are in there for their past history of performance which gives me confidence but once they act up they are immediately put in "time out" until they have proven themselves again on the range and can then be put back into the bag. :bicker:

Looks, performance, feel. Also when I want to tinker.

It's a combo of things but when it feels right is certainly one of them!

Tinkering, the bug that just keeps on messing with your head. :D

Although it is damn fun to tinker and get great results unexpectedly.

Performance. If it's better (longer, tighter dispersion etc) then it will earn a spot. Followed by feel, if it's the same or similar to what it's replacing but feels better it's got a shot as well.

My ability to hit it well, its performance in my hands, and price.

Performance, price, looks / feel.

My driver and irons were fit to me.

Everything else is all about finding consistent performance.
