Hello everyone!

I’m a brand new user and this is the first time I’ve participated in a discussion forum, I’m hoping somebody may have an answer. It’s winter in New England but I’m a diehard golfer and was hitting some balls today with my newly constructed driver. I just purchased a Taylormade M3 head and built it. I’ve done this before, about 3 or 4 times, it’s a pretty easy process and have never had any problems. But as I was hitting some balls today, I noticed the head will rotate slightly left and right of the neutral setting I keep it at. This movement is not the adapter itself and it is securely glued to the shaft with no play what so ever. My question is what is the piece inside the driver head that is keyed to accept the adapter called? And has anyone ever experienced that piece being loose inside the head before? The screw was completely tightened, test two different times. I’ve never seen this and I’m wondering if it’s fixable or if I wasted my money and bought a broken driver head.

Thanks all!
