Has anyone used this alignment aid? I saw it as an ad on youtube and got sucked in and ordered it. Looks legit.

I was clicking through some TXG videos and saw the ad for this. It looks simple enough and appears to be a good tool to introduce (or reinforce) good basics.

I got outdoors for my first range session on Sunday night and got to use my AME.

The initial set up is quite easy but it is has to be done at the point of use. It won't move spots very easily even a few feet.

I set it up like this except for the overhanging attachment and it really gives you confidence that you are lined up correctly.
