    Golf Pride Arccos Grips

At the PGA show THP took some pictures of the arccos and golf Pride booths. One thing that we saw was the mcc+4 grip that had the integrated arccos sensor. Cobra sells a tour Velvet under the cobra connect branding.

Is there any list people of seen of possible grips that will be released later this year? Or is this something still a ways away.

I asked Arccos about this on their Facebook page.

    Here was a response:

Golf Pride customer support wrote me with this, “Sorry, at this time I have limited information on the Arccos grip; however, I am told it will only be available in TOUR VELVET and MCC PLUS 4. We are shooting for a launch date mid/late summer.”

i think @jb or one of the other guys covering the show mentioned late summer as well. i LOVE hearing they'll have it in mcc+4. i'd like to see it come out in mcc+4 align as well.

Yeah the big thing I would like to see is one of the align versions. I know the cross section of ribbed grip and arccos embedded sensor must be tiny, but I would like the option.

I really, really can’t justify that price and I’m sure I’m not alone with that.

I don’t like the forced subscription either.

Totally agree. You charge 250 and say you include the first year subscription. Well, no you are charging the first year subscription. So, what about those of us that use Arccos 360 or Cobra Connect?

I emailed them about the fact I use Cobra Connect and the only thing I can do is wait till individual grips go on sale “latter this summer” and see what the price is for those. I sure am not paying 20+ for a grip to start a subscription.

These grips should have been much cheaper to entice us 360 users to switch to a subscription model. Not over charged.

They say they offer loyal users a 99.99 discount so if you order the grips still cost $150. As much as I want these grips I'm not paying that especially if I don't need a sensor. The grips are available on Cobra's website for $15/ea I believe.

maybe i'm just too stupid to see it, but does it say how many grips you get for $150? cuz if it's 13 grip, that's just under $11 per grip and includes the sensor. isn't that comparable to mcc+4 grips without a sensor?

I just checked and it is 13 grips + the putter sensor so its basically a whole Arccos set. In that case you would be correct its a good deal as you are basically buying Arccos with your grips. For us that already have sensors $15/ea from Cobra is a bit pricey especially with no sensor included

    NEW Arccos Grips

I know there is an Arccos thread, but I thought this would be better placed on its own so as to not get lost within the post.

I got an email from Arccos today saying they now offer Lamkin and Golf Pride smart grips. I recall hearing people wish they offered the grips in other manufacturers or they were waiting for the Golf Pride version to come out. Well they’re here now (for pre order).

    Email in its entirety:

Message heard loud and clear, Arccos Caddie users, you want more Smart Grip options, and now they’re here!

Starting today, you can pre-order any one of four new Smart Grip models on our website, arccosgolf.com, including Golf Pride MCC Plus4 (standard), Lamkin UTx (standard and midsize) and Lamkin Crossline 360 (midsize). Quantities are limited and delivery is planned for end-June. Lamkin Crossline 360 (standard) remains in stock and is available for immediate shipping if you can’t wait.

We’re also happy to announce a new pricing model, where the purchase price includes a one-year subscription to the award-winning Arccos Caddie platform ($99.99 value). This means that a set of MCC Plus4 Smart Grips, which retails for $249.99, comprises $150.00 for the grips (comparable to a full set of non-smart grips) and $99.99 for a year’s subscription. Now you’re guaranteed to have a full golf season to explore the power of golf’s smartest caddie with your Smart Grips.

As an added bonus, our loyal customers already using Arccos Caddie will receive a $99.99 (€89.99 / £79.99) discount on their Smart Grips purchase. This will automatically be applied during the check-out process if you use your Arccos Caddie registered email when purchasing and enter the Discount Code “SmartGrips”. Note that you will need to select "Check Out" rather than using the quick checkout option (PayPal, Google Pay, Amazon Pay) to access the discount.

If you have any questions regarding these new Smart Grip options please send an email to proshop@arccosgolf.com and we’ll respond as soon as we can.

Thanks again for all your support to date!
