I have a ton of hats that, over time, have stretched out. They seem to have just lost their elasticity. Are there any tips or tricks out there to restore them? It bugs me as I have so many, that most of them don't get a lot of wear, so I don't know why it's happening.

Thanks!

Maybe wetting the band of the hat and sticking on the rack in the dryer on hi heat?? Heat works on shrinking a cowboy hat with a leather band. I've done it with my cowboy hats and it has worked. Maybe others will have a better answers.

I haven't had hats that have stretched, but have had hats as gifts or whatever which are too large. My solution has been to wear the hat in a hot shower and when you get out, let the hat dry on your head. Generally the hat will shape your head.
