So... the corporation I work for just signed a 3 billion dollar check to the Oilers' owner... did we buy the oilers too?

edit: we did not buy Katz entertainment. but I bet Mcdavid is happy, he will have his huge contract :alien:

Jones makes as much as Backstrom does pretty much. Both expiring contracts who weren't needed on their teams so basically just us getting a free 6th round pick. No real cap space gained for the Wild but they get a position player instead of a goalie that they don't need and Backstrom is probably a better play than Hiller at this point for the Flames

He was and is a glorified forward trying to play defense. So so glad that the Caps let him walk

They played tough and really frustrated the Caps. They had 4 PPs and then the Caps scored 2 quick goals in the first
