Arcadia is Amazing, the only other one that I have played on the list is Tullymore. I love that course, my parents have a house 2 blocks from the entrance to the course. When they were building that course we would walk the course in the evening and look at the progress they made. That course feels like it's a part of me. It's a lot of fun to play. It used to be on golfnow and you could get some good deals, but now they think they are Bigtime and there are no deals to be had. They have another course ther called St. Ives and it's a fun course also!!

I'd strongly recommend staying out of this bunker though.... Club up.

Take it from someone like me who found every single front-of-the-green bunker on the course. Turned every single one into a double.

I'm down for Arcadia or Bucks run.

Still a couple of hours to get over to the west side and golf....!

Sorry man, kids had day off of school today for voting and they are here at work with me. No bueno.

Your kids are too young to vote!

But are probably more intelligent than many that are voting.

Great day for golf, enjoy CJ and jspangs. Can't make it.

I did however not even bring a coat to work today. That felt pretty awesome.

Toughest courses in Michigan per GAM...

Good list. Have played quite a few of those. Played the Wyndgate for the first time last year. Every single cart path is a brick paver. Never seen anything like it. Guess it was going to be so expensive to do it that the owner of Wyndgate bought the brick laying company in order to do it, and that saved him money. Crazy. Surprised to see Battle Creek CC on there. Played a tournament there a few years ago and scored very well, did not find it overly difficult, especially compared to the others on the list.

How far apart are they? Can they be done in a day? I'm interested in coming up

It'd be a long day, but a good one. They're about 2:15 of beautiful Michigan back roads apart.

Hmmmm looks like need to find another course close to one of them for a 36/18 outing or double up on one.

Any courses open right now north of Mt. Pleasant? I want to take a road trip tomorrow from northern Michigan and play some golf.

Later,

John

The Loop is supposed to open later this year. 1 course, 2 directions.

Paging Michigan Slice.

He's your man on the matter in that area. And I'm sure he would be willing to join ya!

Forgot about that course opening, isn't it supposed to play one way on even days the other on odd?

Looks like I will be making at least a trip up north to play!
