San Diego golf schools ?

The wife and I are going to take a week vacation and head for San Diego. We want to go to a 3 day golf school in that area to improve our games and celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary.
We attended the Kapalua Golf Academy for a 3 day school to celebrate our 5th anniversary and it really helped us both and was a lot of fun. (and expensive!)


Does anyone have suggestions or recommendations for a school in the SD area? I am not looking to break the bank on this trip, so Aviara is out.

I know Aviara does a 3 day academy, and the course is phenomenal. Last I looked it was like 1800/person though.

My wife and I have decided on the JC Golf School at Encinitas Ranch.
It's a 3 day school that includes 15 hours of instruction, lunch daily, and 3 days of golf.
We will be attending on April 23-24-25 and it is just the 2 of us with one instructor.
There is room for 2 more in the class if anyone is interested in joining us.
We would not mind at all and it would cut the cost from $795 per person to $595 per person.

Day 1- Tuesday April 23, 2019

Time Activity
8:00am Check in with the Golf Shop for transportation to the golf school
Begin evaluation process – 3 stations – 60 minutes each
Station 1 – Putting and chipping
Station 2 – Pitching / Bunker
Station 3 – Full Swing (video)
11:15 Lunch in the Ranch Grill Room
12:00 Golf on the Encinitas Ranch Championship Golf Course
Instructor will accompany you on the golf course until 1:00pm

Day 2- Wednesday April 24, 2019
Time Activity

8:00am Check in with the Golf Shop for transportation to the golf school
8:15 Begin warm-up, stretching and balance exercises
8:30 Discuss previous day and review video.
Identify strengths and work on weaknesses
11:15 Lunch in the Ranch Grill Room
12:00 Golf on the Encinitas Ranch Championship Golf Course
Instructor will accompany you on the golf course until 1:00pm


Day 3-Thursday April 25, 2019
Time Activity

8:00am Check in with the Golf Shop for transportation to the golf school
8:15 Begin instruction and working on main problems
11:15 Lunch in the Ranch Grill Room
12:00 Golf on the Encinitas Ranch Championship Golf Course
Instructor will accompany you on the course until 1:00pm
