If you're in the area, general admission is free all weekend at Fallen Oak north of Biloxi. Parking is $10 with a shuttle to the course.

Duffy!

Duffy is a great guy.

Bigger crowd for Daly, O'Meara, and Langer.

Three good looks at birdie on 4, but no one converted.

Daly's pants are 2-under today.

I really wanted to make it down for the weekend.

Greens are firm and fast.

The Short/Petrovic/Allen group is not.

Colin Montgomerie just shushed my kids.

Whoops.

Biloxi is such a great place for golf. And that course is awesome!!

Waldorf for birdie on 16!

We saw a birdie from Langer on 1, and then a long drought until Couples and Singh birdied 12. Singh hit a fantastic shot from the fairway bunker.

Daly, O'Meara, and Langer all made great up-and-downs on 17.

These guys are still good.

"Here you go, sweetie."

This was the first time I've been out to Fallen Oak. It is only available for play to guests of the Beau Rivage. I can't imagine it gets the traffic some of the other courses around here gets. If you were dropped on to the course not knowing where it is, you wouldn't know you were less than 20 miles from the Gulf. The MS Gulf Coast is a sneaky good golf destination, with courses scattered from Gautier to Bay St. Louis.

They could've used you. Sparse crowd today, even with Coke footing the bill for admission.

Yeah we stayed at the Beau for my friends bachelor party. We played 5-6 rounds of golf down there. The other really fun one was Grand Bear. I think we drove 5 miles in the forest to get there!!

I know the golfers love the stop. I’m not sure why it isn’t better attended other than it is in BFE and the lack of opportunities to play the course turns off a lot of golfers on and near the coast.

Grand Bear is a fine course. And, yes, it is deep in the woods. I would love to have played Fallen Oak but have had two chances to play it jerked out from under me when the casino closed the course to accommodate VIPs who were expected.

5 playoff holes were not enough for Kevin Sutherland and Scott Parel. They'll come back at 8 am CT tomorrow to resume play.

2 more trips down 18 this morning before Sutherland finally dropped a long birdie putt to win. It was Sutherland's only birdie in the final round + playoff.

Finally got around to getting a screenshot of Couples teeing off on 9 with an FT-i Squareway 3-wood.

Vintage. But he can still move it pretty well for a near 60 year old.
