I love to review and discuss equipment. I'm constantly discussing new equipment with my friends and I love digging into the tech behind new stuff. I'm not the best writer in the world and sometimes the thoughts in my head don't always translate well to the page, but I always try to do my best with it.

I enjoy testing, reviewing and discussing equipment. It's not only fun for me, but, gives me something to focus on and immerse myself into. For instance, if it's club, I'll game it, of course, but, also go the range several times a week and hit shots under different lie conditions, etc., to see how it performs for me. This gives me a lot of info to review on the forum, but, also has a side benefit, for me, of focused practice--something that I rarely do anymore, now that I don't play in tournaments regularly. Heck, I rarely hit a warm up bucket for playing these days. I've found that while testing, my game improves and my handicap drops a few strokes, and that has occurred even when testing balls, putters, and wedges. There was one putter I reviewed that I couldn't make many putts with. But, working with it did seem to improve my putting when I'd put my gamer back in play. Haha

I love it all! When I had the privilege to review the TaylorMade Rsi2 irons, and the Bridgestone e7 balls, I felt the obligation to really delve deep into the performance of each, and try to address any questions I thought fellow THPers might have.
