That does not qualify for hockey being stupid. That to me suggests the networks are stupid for showing Capitals games and not Penguins games.

It's not offseason until the Draft Lottery! Or, as Oilers fans call it "the only thing we can ever win consistently".
 
I'd rather watch the Ducks at a reasonable time than anyone else.

I'd much rather watch the Pens than the Caps though

Oshie defended himself to a degree, he was holding Crysby back from getting into the scrum and crysby sucker punched him with a glove 3 times for Oshie did anything

What is your point? That has nothing to do with punching someone after a takedown?

That's true and I don't think what oshie did was right, but Crosby wasn't exactly innocent either... Imo they both should of gotten 2

Like I said, I enjoy scrums. Give them both whatever penalties are appropriate and move on.

But, take a guy down and continue to whack him, and now we're approaching bush league hockey. May as well start taping on the foil.

I agree, but Crosby has done plenty of less than sportsmanlike or not quite according to the unwritten rules of hockey before.
I think that also may have carried over from a knee to knee hit Crosby put on Oshie earlier in the month.

So find him in open ice and drop him. We all know Crosby is edging closer and closer to mush-head territory. One big clean hit sorts him out for the next full season as far as I'm concerned.

I've not seen the video of his 'less than sportsmanlike' efforts so i can't judge, but I'm also not a fan of the 'fight a wrong with a wrong' mentality. Rise above, win games, and hit hard.

They were ready for a face off and Crosby jumped him unprovoked pulled his shirt over his head and started throwing punches.

One of the many reasons he isn't as well liked as you would think for being one of the best ever.

Watch the first one, Crosby is throwing punches while Giroux is down with the linesman.
