Stumbled across this on YouTube the other day and was blown away by the music and visual content.
The known history of the Universe until now. We humans appear for less than one second out of around 10 minutes.
Really puts into scale how old the universe is, how long it took to go from single-cell life to advanced multi-cell form, and how much of a blip we really are on our pale blue dot...
...And that scale is nothing compared to the future. Doubling in speed every 5 seconds, the future of the (our?) universe still takes nearly half an hour.
Supposedly everything we know and ever will know will quite literally decay into a frozen void of nothing, over trillions upon trillions upon trillions upon trillions of years.
