Thanks to some lingering toe injuries from my hockey days, outside of maybe some rounds with limited walking and riding, I am heavily into the athletic, full flex shoe profile.

At some point here I'm going to try and get it solved, but not in any hurry especially during golf season.

I have some major running shoes that I like a lot, and I wear slip on Vans all the time (they seem like the OG no drop shoes), but maybe they are not true zero drop.

Athletic 100% now. Growing up they weren't really a thing so I was a footjoy classics in all black so they weren't the true white/brown saddle. I wear shorts and usually an untucked polo so saddle shoes look very odd.

Whatever fits my huge feet, high arches and painful bunions without causing pain after 3-1/2 hours of walking. Also needs to be supportive enough my foot doesn't slide around in it during my swing. If I can find a shoe that's comfortable and stable I can't afford to be too picky about what style it is.

Traditional look fantastic with slacks and awful with shorts. Athletic look great with shorts but mostly ok with slacks. Because I don't want to have a closet full of golf shoes to match every outfit, I choose athletic style shoes.

For me I prefer the athletic type shoe, specifically the more minimalistic with a large toe box and minimal drop due to my messed up feet. I'm just glad that there are better options now than what I was wearing the first time JB met me.. Lol.

I don't care much about the style per say. In my mind, traditional looks way better. For me though, I just want something that is firm feeling when I hit into my left side if that makes sense. Some shoes feel soft to me when I get on that left foot on the follow through and I'm not a huge fan of that.

    Athletic.

It really looks odd to me seeing someone young in traditional shoes. Justin Thomas comes to mind.

Whatever is the lightest, water proof, and most comfortable.

Athletic though if given the option.

I like them both and have a couple of pair of each. I swap them out depending on my mood and my outfit.
