In the process of blowing up my bag and getting all JDM stuff!

They are currently drying right now. I'm pairing the irons with Xcaliber Tour X shafts and the driver with a B Asha shaft.

I took a few when I unpackaged. I compared the Vega head to my Bombtech head. It's a lot smaller.

Couple more things came in today. The SYB 7 wood head, driver headcover (the Vega head didn't come with a headcover), and a bunch of shafts, to use in the 7 wood and my A-Grind hybrids (whenever they come in)

Those irons look SHARP! Can't wait to see the full bag when it's all done.

First trip to the range with some of the new JDM clubs yesterday. Still waiting on the 3 wood and my hybrids.

The driver was the most difficult to get used to. I am going from the Bombtech Grenade (which is almost G30 sized) to a traditional pear shaped 445cc head. In other words, it looks way smaller. Sound it now what I'm used to as well. More "twack" and less "tink". I'm going to stick with it though. It's a beautiful driver that a paired with an awesome shaft.

The irons were good. My first time with a forged head and graphite shaft combo. Topline was a little thinner than I was used to. I'm only carrying 6-pw. I didn't shaft the 5 irons. I was having some issued with the 6 (the highest iron I carried before was an 8!), but the 7-pw was easy breazy. Like the driver, I have to slow things down and concentrate on a good pass. And the feel, well, it was awesome. The heads are raw, so the felt like raw clubs. Those that have owned raw heads (I've owned a few) know what I'm talking about.

The surprise was the 7 wood! This is the club I paid the least for. I paired it with a Matrix shaft and man this thing was automatic. It was a bigger head than I'm used to in a 7 wood. It was on the "shallower" side, but I wouldn't call it shallow. I can see this club getting the most use!

Just read this thread for the first time and it is awesome. Those irons look beautiful with the shafts.

Who makes those unique shafts?

Yeah. Look them up. That's actually steel reinforcement in the resin of the graphite shafts, so it's kind of both a steel and graphite shaft.

Thanks....awesome looking!!

Seems like the only place that has any info on them is Golf Works. They had a website but it's no more. I wonder how they would compare to Aerotech Steelfiber?
