I was asked 417 times by @Canadan if I knew the next captain yet.
The answer was no.

For those that want to be considered.

This community is filled with amazing people, but I am going to say it here. Jumping into an event thread once a week and saying "cant wait" is not where the search is heading : )
The search is headed for the above. And its going to be glorious.

To read every single post every single day is amazing to me and that is totally meant as a compliment, along the lines of our discussion at the Morgan Cup. How rare it is to find people with such dedication.

I’d probably give up both pinky toes....maybe more. Definitely more. Seeing that and holding it in the flesh was kind of an out of body experience. Seeing @puttin4bird’s name on that thing and holding it sent some shivers down my spine and gave me some goosebumps for sure.

Whether leading the way or helping in any way possible.....I’m all in. Thanks for showing it to me and letting me get to experience a little bit of glory for a few moments. Had a blast tonight!

Awesome pic! Although is this like touching the Stanley Cup prior to winning it? Think Canadan is purposely taking pictures with potential opposing captains holding the cup to ensure he wins next year? You never know about those hockey fans and their crazy superstitions...

Hahahahaha I’m dying here. That’s hilarious and I wouldn’t put it past mr Canadan. But, I respect the hell out of him, the event, and that trophy and what it represents. He’s the incumbent winning capt and he should show that baby off any chance he gets. It was cool to see!!! Heavier than I though it would be too

Pretty unreal how one weekend can bond a bunch of random internet golfers so closely. I think every event here does that, but the MC takes it to a whole new level
