    I had heard of them. What I didnít know was that they were actual sand with no grass whatsoever. I assumed they were grass on a base of sand. Maybe I could actually putt on one of them? Couldnít hurt, lol.

    It would be cool if more PGA tournaments were played on munis.

    Other than Bethpage Black, the only other that I'm aware of in NY is when Eisenhower Park Red course used to host a Champions Tour event.

    I get to play all the metro parks course around for free which is great. Sleepy Hollow is my favorite. 98% of my golf is public, but I have nothing against private courses.

    I agree. It would be a great way to reconnect the pro game to the everyday player.
