Pancake vs Waffle

I got hooked on waffles while staying in hotels and the hot breakfasts provided. I bought the Waring Pro, Belgian waffle maker. I use Krusteaz Belgian waffle mix. The adjustable thermostat lets you set the temp to cook them all the way through without without burning the outside. Syrup and whipped cream on top……
Worst pancakes I ever had was at an IHOP. Nicely cooked on the outside, but raw in the middle. You’d think a place with pancakes in their name and makes thousands a day would know to to cook them.

Waffles all the way, with a little syrup and fresh fruit. Pancakes get soggy way too quickly. No thanks.

Waffles if I'm at a restaurant, pancakes are home

No matter which, needs homemade maple syrup !!!8655F00C-EB1D-40A5-96FE-41C3587B4F77.jpeg

Nothing like the real deal.

Neither. I’m not a fan of either.

though if I had to choose…. Probably pancakes. Throw some meat in it and it’s like a taco.

Pancakes... all day.. every day... I'd consider French toast.

Homemade: Pancakes
Restaurant: Waffles

Wait you make your own maple syrup? I need an acreage!

Grew up on 80 acres in the country and my mom still lives there. We've made syrup for 40+ years 👍🏻

Nothing better than a crispy waffle
