28 putts today. Starting to really get the feel for the extra weight compared to the Scotty. I think the balance is better on the Toulon. I didn't leave any putts short today, even on two putts that I was just trying to lag up close from about 30 feet I put them past the hole about 4 feet.

I spent 30 minutes on the putting green today and I think I'm ready to call this my favorite putter I've ever owned. There's something about this shape that instills confidence for me and it makes me smile any time I take it out of the bag. It probably helps that I'm making more putts than I have in a very long time. Odyssey/Toulon have absolutely nailed it with their whole lineup this year.

The Vegas was on fire today! 26 putts with 10 one putts. Helping me shoot a new PB 73!!! Now that the punched greens are starting to heal, they are running fast and true. The ball just rolls so good off the face. I'm really glad I picked this up.

    Toulon Memphis

Hello everyone , I am thinking on makeing a purchase of a Toulon Memphis , the thing is my putter fitting reveled that I need to stick with a putter that has anywhere from 1/4 toe hang to full toe hang. I have been putting with a Scotty Cameron Blade style putter for all of my golfing life , which is about 30 or so years. What ever model I use , I have several Scotty models, they all have the toe hang that the fitting says I need. Well, me being me wants a change , the question I want to ask is what is the toe hang on the Memphis. Thanks in advance for your time , I look forward to seeing what all your thoughts and opinions are on this ( PS I hope that I am posting this in the correct forum as I am new to this site. )

First off, welcome to the forum!

As far as the Memphis I think the only ones I've seen are face balanced models. I'm guessing if you can find a used Garage model or make one in the Toulon Garage you may be able to get a neck that creates toe hang.

    Welcome.

I would go to the Odyssey website: https://www.odysseygolf.com/toulon-d...troke-lab.html

If you click the red hyperlink on the left hand side all the specs will come up. The link I just posted was for the Atlanta with 30 degree toe hang.

Memphis is full face balanced. Palm Beach is 53 degree toe hang. The Las Vegas H7 is 33 degree toe hang. Portland is 31 degree toe hang. Those are the mallets.

    Enjoy building.

My experience with the Toulons Las Vegas has been both love and adjustment. The milled face seems hotter than the White Hot Insert I've been using on the SL Tuttle. The Vegas has shown stronger performance on longer putts over 8ft. I've struggled a bit with shorter putts, but it's been more of a speed and pace issue than alignment. The Vegas sets up so well and frames the ball perfectly to my eye. The feel through transition is familiar since the Stroke Lab tech is present and it's something I don't want to be without. It just feels easier to maintain stability through the stroke.
The dark finish is aesthetically beautiful and contrasts well against multiple balls and Truvis patterns that I've tested with it. I will say the Triple Track tech on the ERC balls made putting so much easier as the distance from the end of the takeaway to impact is so minimal that aligning and swinging through the lines on the ball is truly effective. The maiden voyage was very positive. Looking forward to getting out on the greens and spending more time with it! It's such a sexy putter!

You got fit for both at the Granddaddy correct? I am lucky enough to have received the Tuttle already and am trying to decide between las Vegas and Memphis for my Toulon. I love the palm beach but I have to go full mallet after talking with the Odyssey guys. Any reason you went Vegas over any other models?

Honestly, the Vegas won me over with looks. I've always putted fairlywell with #7's and this was no exception. Also, from an alignment perspective, it frames the ball SO well. On the Toulon front, the mallet options are few so this was an easy choice for me.

I am really enjoying the Columbus. I have been showing it off to the guys I play with and everyone really likes the balance of it. As far as putting goes, I have been having pretty good success. Able to lag close when needed and putts inside ten feet are becoming more routine. I really like the way the ball gets rolling so smooth and quickly. That seems to be the one big difference between it and the Scotty is the ball doesn't seem to skid at all with the Toulon.

So got a round in with the Vegas today. The greens at my course are very fast, but I love the feel. I will say the distance control is about the same feel as my DoubleWide but the Vegas has a hotter face if that makes any sense at all. The balls comes out the gate fast but still easier to control distance than other putters I have used. The Strokelab technology really makes a difference in how the putts feel. I will say I struggled at first with short putts, like 3' and in because of the ball coming out hot bit I got used to it. I think a few more rounds and I will be rocking and rolling with this. It took me a few months to get really dialed in with the DoubleWide. Once I fully get used to this putter it will be deadly for sure. I switched to the DoubleWide on one of the holes and I didn't feel like I was picking up a significantly different putter. The weight and fluidness felt very very similar. I have 2 great gamers this season.
