We had garlic and herb pork loin, mashed taters and some brussel sprouts.
 
No cooking tonight - Chinese!
 
As of right now...beer and cigars.

Mr B's in New Orleans for a bit of soft shell crab! Yummmmmmmm!
 
Driving through Kentucky and stopped in Lexington for the night. Those who were at the Kentucky invitational will remember the great dinner here.

Grilled some steaks tonight. A little salad on the side, along with some sauteed mushrooms in a little heavy cream, and some fresh strawberries. Always one of my favs.
 
Green beans and cornbread
 
Homemade Margherita pizza and alcohol. More alcohol than pizza at this point.

Pizza was solid though.

Mofongo. Went shrimp this time.

How do you like blue apron? We were thinking of trying it out.

Cooked a ribeye and paired it with some steamed veggies tonight.

Dude! That was a staple growing up for me. The shrimp is my favorite!

Blue apron is awesome nothing we have hated thus far and most of it is very very good also gets us to try some new things at about the same cost it was costing us for the meals anyway. We have been doing it for about three months now.

Big fan, the prep isn't too bad and it has some recipes that we wouldn't necessarily think of. Directions are easy to follow as well. Portion sizes are perfect, not sure about calories though. The meal above was 700 and the chicken was 640 and fish was 500 something.

We're usually looking in that range for calories, so that's about perfect. Especially with a few options to work with during the week.
