Definitely a sticker shock value to it, and looking into it all, priced higher than Vokey and Callaway.

Some cool custom options though for sure. Raw MG wedges have been a want of mine for a long time.

Raw Hi-Toe screams at me. Wish I could just purchase an uncustomized set though!
 
Considering I’m in need of wedges these would’ve been an excellent option to customize. But not at that price point! But darn they look good.

I wonder if there is a way to strip the finish from a standard Hi Toe?? Maybe there is someone we can talk to about a raw finish sometime relatively soon?? :)
 
$420 for the putter?? YIKES! For that amount, it better guarantee it makes every putt I stand over.

It's a hard pass for me.

Only 30-40 more than a new SC. Not bad considering the customization.

IMO, the putter price is WAY easier to take than the wedges at 225.

Maybe it's just seeing a 4 in front of that price rather than a 3. Something about paying that price just doesn't feel right to me

You don’t even have to go to SC for that. Most premium putters will run you that! Toulon garage for example..

I agree, the putter is much more appealing for this release!

Yeah. The garage putter I messed with today ended up like 675.

But, we each have our price thresholds for sure.

Miller vs insert though. I don’t get into price stuff though, because I’m a fan of options.

Same. Love options.

But if we are going down that road, custom vs bone stock.

Definitely 1000 ways to cut it.
 
I'm always a fan when a company offers personalization so kudos to TaylorMade for that but I agree, that price is tough to swallow.
 
Man would I have preferred a custom X instead of the regular spider...

The only reason for me to get the MySpyderX would be for a T alignment aid. It works well for me.

Custom color, not required.

In the description it does not list the insert material. In a "chat" tonight I was told the custom has the same 5mm surlyn as the X.
The previous version MySpyder custom was aluminum and the non-custom suryln.

A negative, they do not adjust for loft and lie.

I think I will wait for a navy face balanced.
