I carry a 7 wood and 3 ironwoods. I just cannot hit regular hybrids. The 7 wood doesn’t see much action because I only use it off the tee.

I know that it’s not exactly on topic, but I never thought I would go back to a long iron and the F9 4 iron, shafted with a hybrid-type graphite shaft is my favorite club in the bag. It fits that hybrid/7 wood spot so well for me. It is my favorite club in the bag.

I’m adding a wood either 3 or 5 after some testing to see if I prefer 16 degrees open or closed. No reason to switch my 3 Hybrid I hit with a controlled fade. The 4 hybrid will likely become a Crossover. This seems to make sense after spending some extra time on the range with both present hybrids.

Another heavenwood devotee here. Can't hit a hybrid worth a darn.

I use to play a 7 wood ant it was by far my favorite club. But it doesn't seem to be as accurate as a hybrid. I guess I like the feel of a hybrid. Probably the shorter shaft.
