DraftKings or FanDuel: Do you play?

Just signed up today

Anyone lose money to the scandal or are they still investigating and haven't contacted people yet?

After doing some 25 cent plays to get my feet wet, I started playing some $3 and $5 games and am now up overall. Nothing major so far but I'm still getting used to it. Definitely makes watching games a lot more interesting when I normally wouldn't have an interest in them.

I love playing on draftings. I have been playing since last year and do quite well in baseball and football. My advice to anyone who starts playing is to get into a beginner lobby and play 50/50 matches. Its the best way to get your feet wet.

Ordered to shut down in Nevada.

This could get interesting for both sites. Honesty just hope to see less commercials

When the original story broke, I cashed out. It might be a blip on the radar, but I can always re-sign back up.

Ya I just cashed out. Luckily fanduel deposits right to PayPal and it's pretty easy

And just like that, Boom! New York attorney general declares daily fantasy gambling. Sent cease and desist notices out just now. Get your money off of these sites!

And cashed out

NY attorney general has no jurisdiction in Michigan.

I play DraftKings and as I have only $19 in my account, I will risk it.

The future is bleak for these sites as the states have set their greedy eyes on all the money passing hands without them getting a cut. Just like the mob, states demand their "tribute" or they will abuse their power to shut them down. Casino corporations are also behind this as they pay taxes and do not want any competition for gaming dollars. I wonder how much these sites have brought it on themselves with the endless commercials bringing so much attention to themselves.

Last week on Fan Duel i got an email about a free entry with no deposit required so i entered not really knowing what sort of tournament it was. It ended up being "The Big Ticket" sponsored by Seat Geek with the winner winning two tickets to the Super Bowl and a number of other awesome prizes. I did pretty well and finished in the top 80 out of 161,000 and won $100 in ticket credits on Seat Geek. Not a bad way to start the season

I won $3.50 yesterday on a MLB lineup. I only spent $1 to enter so...#winning! LOL

I'm not a gambler but I have a couple buddies that are very much into Fan Duel. One of them will sometimes spend $300 or more each week on that site. My only football betting is the $50 for my fantasy league.

Baseball is the one sport where i really struggle to do well in daily leagues. So many times ive been close to cashing and dont

Baseball is not easy, have to hit on some lesser known guys that are cheap usually. I only play the $1-3 entries in the hopes I could get lucky. I finished in 732nd place out of 14,705 entries yesterday to win that $3.50

Thats huge ROI but man thats a lot of work for $2.50 haha

I usually play in the smaller tournaments for smaller amounts. The odds of breaking even in the largest tournaments are not that good.

I enter a few double up tournaments where the top half of the field doubles their entry fee. Then after I build a little bit of cushion I will enter tournaments with a smaller number of contestants and a tiered payout. I usually enter multiple lineups each week, but keep the total entry fee to less than $10/week. I have been able to play a whole football season off of a $50 buy in. Often I will cash out/double up with a point total that would have returned $0 in the large tourney.

Me and a buddy were talking about this today and he logged into his account and sure enough our state no longer allows these sites to work. Disappointing but more bets will be made now instead of fantasy
