Went for a quick get away for some golf this weekend down on the Ms gulf coast and played the grand bear golf course and then the preserve golf club. Both were really really nice well maintained courses. I would recommend both. The unique thing about the grand bear was each hole is secluded and completely surrounded by trees (course sits smack dab in the middle of the desoto national forest). You can’t see from one hole to the next making you feel like your the only one on the course. The preserves was a more fun and challenging course but was a more open course. Golf carts had gps screens on board which was really nice.. both courses offer stay and play discount opportunities through the local casinos.. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay on the Mississippi gulf coast and would highly recommend this area to anyone looking for a get away! Both golf courses were top notch!
