Hard to beat Oreos and a big glass of milk.
 
I love a solid oatmeal raisin. Does anyone recall the name of those frosted oatmeal cookies? They're maybe 2" round, crunchy as hell, and have some sort of white (also hard) icing

Are you thinking of Archway? I'm sure these are sold under other brands as well.

Famous Amos!...although growing up we were poor so I only had.the generic brand Hanus Anus
 
There used to be a bakery in Western NY called Petri's that made the best off the shelf cookies. They were located in Dunkirk and Silver Creek. I remember my dad delivered for them when we were younger and always had their cookies around the house. The packaging was similar to the Archway ones. I can't remember anything better. Any of you guys from WNY remember those things?
