Whenever there is $ to be gained, someone will abuse the system to obtain it.

They’ll be on the same list as me for the rest of their lives “we regret to inform you.....”

My guess is they resell passes to web-stores that then run people through the store like mules to get merchandise to sell at a horrendous markup online.
 
Glad they got caught and will do some prison time. Very foolish to scam AN with their ulta deep pockets and all the attorneys that are members. I'm sure AN would gladly spend any sum to prosecute these scam artists.
 
I don't think it affected me, have already been 3 times in past 6 years
