Well, this one was announced and set the stage a couple of months ago for a NE Ohio showdown, and it's finally getting down to go time. With under 3 weeks to go, thought a new thread would be best for the actual event.

Background: PhillyV and I have played a couple match play rounds against each other over the course of 2015 at several courses, and we were pretty even leading up to some big events such as The Gauntlet and The Grandaddy. I don't believe any of our matches went any less than at least 16 holes, with one off the top of my head coming down to 18 which I took.

Update for recent background match: PhillyV and I played an impromptu 9 hole match last Sunday. The match went as back and forth as possible (Phil won #1, I won #2, Phil won #3, I won #4...you get it) with only 1 hole pushed, and went to the final putt. If it wasn't for crazy physics that didn't let my ball fall, we would have tied, but Phil took it by 1 on the final green. Just a snip it of what to look forward to this coming Sunday.

Straight up match is sweet. I took philly v against Dan but this one I'm going with cbaker.

Also received that headcover so I won't be entering the contest

Im going to go Philly V with an 7/6 victory as he finds a way to turn golfing into scoring.
On that Par 5, I say Phil plays smart and lays up and then hits a small knock down wedge to about 15 feet and two putts for par.
Cbaker will go Jordan Spieth fiddling with his staff bag, miss off the tee and then have to play scramble where he unfortunately makes a triple.

Its going to be a good one fellas. I won't be able to follow along, since I will be at a huge THP Event, but since I am pretty sure I am right, you can mark it down as a winner.
