What are some good drills or tips to prevent taking the club back on the outside in the backswing?

A simple drill is to put something on the ground (headcover) on the outside path to force you to swing back inside of the headcover. Here's a video of that drill plus a couple others:

Swing path is dictated by address technique, including grip-posture-alignment. If you would like to change your swing path then adjustments to your address technique will make it happen.
