With that said, we are just a couple of days away from the half way point in the year. So below are some fun categories that you can tell us, what is your favorite/best.

Very limited testing for me this year, but based mostly off feedback

Best Metal Woods: Epic Flash. First hand knowledge here. Stupid forgiving, very complete lineup

Best Irons: Apex & Apex Pro. Currently gaming the CF16. By all accounts the 19s are an improvement over the best irons I’ve gamed. Gotta go with that.

Best Wedges: Vokey SM7

Best Putter: Ping Sigma line

Best Golf Ball: Titleist Prov1, ProV1x, Callaway CSXtt. Literally splitting hairs.

Biggest Surprise: Mizuno metals

Best Shaft Brand: Nippon

Best Equipment Lineup Overall: Callaway

Wanted To Love But Didn't: Ben Hogan but only bc my demo order was cancelled.

Yeah, if I wasn't so happy with the "ancient" CF16 I'd try the PTx Pro demo again. Was just a casualty of being an early adopter when there was a ton of demand.

I hit my Apex CF 19 7 iron side by side with the PTx Pro 7 iron, and you will be surprised how close that comparison is between the two.
