Hi all - I'm new to THP and wanted to get some recommendations for playing in the Whitefish area in a few weeks.

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to THP.

Hi all - I'm new to THP and wanted to get some recommendations for playing in the Whitefish area in a few weeks.

welcome, lots of great courses there...

Eagle Bend is Nice (https://eaglebendgolfclub.com/)

Meadow Lake- is Nice- http://meadowlakegolf.com/

Northern Pines is Nice- https://northernpinesgolfclub.com/

Whitefish Lake is Nice- (36 holes) https://golfwhitefish.com/

Buffalo Hills is Nice-https://www.golfbuffalohill.com/

Wilderness club is about 50 Minutes toward Canada, but worth the drive...It is RIDICULOUS!!!!!! https://wildernessclubmontana.com/

If you can get on it, the only fully Private course in the Valley is Iron Horse- https://ironhorsegolfclub.com/

If I was to put an order of priority to them...they are all mountain courses...so that is similar...

Eagle Bend is near Big Fork- formerly private club- Nicklaus design for back 9...
Northern Pines is central valley, has a Links feel for front 9, and Traditional Mountain for back 9 (Andy North Design)
Meadow Lake has some great seclusion, very Mountainish course...not as many high end homes, but nice layout, with variety
Buffalo Hills- in Kalispell Proper- has a few gimmick holes, probably gets most rounds of any course in valley next to Whitefish Lake
Whitefish Lake 36 holes- nice course, generally very busy, Not sure which 18 I would probably lean toward the South course???
Wilderness Club is always pristine- (Nick Faldo Design) all 18 holes are challenging, nothing gimmicky...is a drive, but worth it!!!

That Wilderness Club is straight fire!

I made the 2 1/2 hour drive a few years ago and it was worth every penny.
