    Your preferred iron shaft

A lot of players have different feelings about steel vs graphite. What is your preferred shaft and why?

I prefer Recoil shafts myself. Usually in 95 F3. Very stable and provide good feedback and gives me a ball flight I can work with.
    Driver Maybe something Flash?
    Fairways Some more awesome Flash?
Irons I have no idea what might go in here!!!
    Wedges probably some MD goodness
    probably something that rolls awesome

Dynamic Gold all the way for me.

I've only owned two sets of irons with anything different, and both times it took me quite a while to adjust.

I could be tempted to try something different again, but it would have to be a pretty convincing (preferably over multiple sessions) before I felt really comfortable switching.

Recoil 110 F4. The ball launches with authority and the feel is great.

Not entirely knowledgeable in this area, I've never had custom shafts, only stock-stiff shafts. My XRs were True Temper Speedstep. Epic had Project X LZ.

Now I have these True Temper Elevate shafts and I enjoy them. Zero complaints.

I think I would like to try UST Mamiya in some sort of fashion in the future, but that's not an area I look deep into. I hear nothing but good things about Recoils.

I think a big reason for me gravitating to the Recoils is it has helped ease the elbow issues I was having. The Recoils really absorb shock well.

I've had success with the recoil 780esf4, but have hit the 95f4 with tighter dispersion on the monitor... I'd love to try the 95f4 protos, and I have a feeling one of the two will end up in my next iron set

I don’t know about specific models, but I prefer graphite and I have been pretty happy with UST Mamiya regular shafts. Before that I had Aldila graphite shafts that were really good also.

As I get a little older, these are things that I am taking into consideration. I have a friend who moved to graphite because he has a nagging shoulder issue. He said it really helps.
