Srixon Q Star Tour - share your thoughts & experience with this ball?

Until last week I had never hit a Srixon ball. Not once. Last week a vendor gave my boss a couple dozen balls. Boss does not play golf at all so he passed the balls around the office. I got 2 sleeves of Srixon Q Star Tour.

I only get to play once a week - I used the Srixon for the first time last week and again yesterday. Maybe it is just the "new ball" honeymoon but I found this to be quite a nice ball. It's as long as anything else I have been using, seems very straight, holds greens well enough, I putted well with it, I like the feel, and they seem durable. My driver swing speed is low 90's.

I don't mean to sound like a Srixon commercial - but did I accidentally discover something here? Anyone decide to make this your primary ball? For those with experience with this ball, what is a good price I should expect to pay per dozen?

Thank you very much for your time!

Its my primary ball. They are $29.99 per doz. Its a killer deal for what this ball has to offer.

I've played the Q-Star and Tour for several years and always loved them. Although the Bridgestone RXS is my gamer right now, I have ZERO issues going back to the Q at any given time.

It's in my rotation and I put it into play when I play a "lesser" golf course since I typically now just play the Z-Star and ProV1.

And by no means is it a slight that I play the QST when I play goat tracks. I like the ball. High launch with shots, good off the tee, and the greenside spin is adequate. Holding greens on approach shots is the biggest key and it does great in that department.

    The price point is great.

My main golf ball, seems to play well and when I shank it into the woods I don't feel as I am losing tons of money as they are only $29 per dozen

It's a fantastic ball in my opinion. Low spin off the tee but nothing too low on approach shots.
Hard to beat the price too. Especially with the durability I have found with them!

Very good ball. I bought a whole bunch of yellow ones during the last sale. I love the whole Srixon line of balls and these fit my game well.

This has been my main ball for the last 6 rounds. I loaded up on a buy one, get one free sale at the local Golf Town. A 3-piece ball, it spins less for me than others, but has great bite n the greens when i hot a good chip. Best thing? It rolls VERY nicely across the greens. I love the Q-Star Tour balls. Excellent value for a great ball!

I started playing them this past “winter” here in SC. The softer compression works well in the cooler weather. 8 months out of the year it’s ZStar for me.

Balls like the Q-Star Tour, B-RXS, and Project (a), just to name a few, offer essentially the same performance. All depends on what brand does it for you and the particular deals they have going on for them.

Great ball. Maybe, it is in my head. But, the white QST feels better than the yellow, which is disappointing. Overall a great value at 29.99 and once or twice a year, you can get them on two fer for one. Thinking about the Duo Professional next as it has a softer compression.

QST has my only ball for the past two years. The newest version is just a touch softer and I think even a couple of yards longer at my modest speed.
I've amassed a good stash with the benefit of two for one or four doz for price of three promos. They cost $10 a doz more in Canada so those deals are a good thing.

Used to be my ball, but have since moved to the Z Star yellow. I have picked up a bunch of lost swing speed since working with a coach, and the Z-Star is longer and spins more for me. I liked the feel of the Q Star Tour, but it wasn't the longest ball for me.
