Check out this thing that was just given to me. Beat to heck Bobby Grace Cobra Putter. He was using his “Hole Seeking Material” back then too.

How heavy is that? It looks like solid and heavy.

Super light actually. The whole package including shaft and grip are under 470 grams.

Whoa very cool find

Softest inserts ever.

Ever ever.

my FIL still uses the mid mallet version of this, it's a funny looking putter but it works for him

Very cool.

Always cool to see what "older" tech looks like.

Old Cobra Putter

If that was refinished it would be a pretty sweet flatstick

Pretty cool. I actually remember that putter vaguely.

I am the type of guy that might send that thing off and have it refinished. I am also the type of guy that would then toss it in the bag and play the heck out of it.

That’s a pretty cool find.

Yep, I’ve had a couple and you can’t feel contact even with Nitros. The MacGregor DCT’s or whatever they were that he designed were a close second in feel.

I’ve still got a Cobra Bobby Grace beryllium copper 2200 with the softie insert and it’s like putting with a marshmallow.

Im going to grind the ever loving **** out of this one on the wheel, because apparently all putters over 310 grams stink :act-up:

Always cool to see classic clubs compared to how they look now

That putter is extremely cool! I would love to have it and get it refinished somewhere. There's some cool potential with it.

Mine was sent to me from a reader.

I’ve got a soft spot for copper putter heads with a nice patina on them!

Just picked up that exact same putter from PIA for $9.99.

BG is very underrated. Mine is 36" and is so nicely weighted. Gonna throw a 21" Winn on it, choke up and sink putts for days.
