I found out that the Molinari brothers are pretty close. They were always practicing at the same time and always had bays next to each other. I was told that they play almost the exact same tournaments together except maybe 3. They don't really compete much with each other instead they cheer the other one on. They have been known to try the other one's golf equipment as well.

I like watching these guys. They'll be ones to watch this weekend for sure. I'm still kicking myself for not picking at least one of them.

The Flying Molinari Brothers....HEY! Thanks for the pics! Kinda weird that one is Nike and one is TaylorMade....not really weird, but just kinda....
 
Once again great pics. It is funny how you say they are close yet they have totally different sponsors. You have to wonder who is getting paid more. hehehe

They're trying to corner the market
 
That is so cool how they both had the talent to make it to the PGA and playing in the same tournament. Even cooler in my opinion that they are both sponsored by different brands.
 
Thanks for the pics...great to here that athletes (and brothers in particular) actually get along and root for one another. Other sports could learn a think or two from golf, that's for sure.

I take it the pros are playing the Blue Monster this week? Sorry, I haven't been keeping up with my golf lately. But if so, this is one of my favorite tournaments!

They sure are.
 
I think it is unique that two brothers from Europe can make on any tour let alone the PGA. If you were a pro, it would have to be really neat to be able to travel the world with your brother playing in the same events. Pretty cool and pretty rare.

No doubt. The odds of that happening just have to be astronomical, especially considering that both of them are highly ranked.
 
Good story, I wish i had a brother sometime, me and 3 sisters bah! What are the odds they would both make it on tour, crazy!

I'm half italian so i find myself rooting for em both.
 
What camera and lens are you using? pics look good.
