I've enjoyed the Scott Hamilton videos so far, this was an interesting one about smash factor:

I've actually subscribed to his emails and most of his videos are fairly quick and his explanations are usually fairly easy to translate into your own game and swing.

honestly, i think it's the first thing people should pay attention to. i don't think smash is always about center-face contact, but i think it often is.

My instructor has had me spraying my driver at the range for some time now. He also has me spray a line vertical (90 degrees) to my stance where I place the ball just before and touching the line. The idea is for me to hit the ball as well as remove some of the line.
