I'm not sure where I'm staying yet. I can get a room at the Super8 for around a third of what one whould cost at Homewood and since I'm staying two nights I might go the cheaper route. I'm just using it for showering and sleeping anyway.
Confirmed for Friday afternoon. Cheapest course in the area is mcolloughs emerald links. Favorite course in the area is twisted dune. I've always wanted to give Sea Oaks a try.
I'd prefer a late morninh/early afternoon round, like no later than a 1pm tee off for me as I need to get back north for wedding festivities.

I have played Sea Oaks. Good course, but a little overpriced IMO. I haven't played Twisted, want to give that a go sometime. I've also heard good things about Renault Vineyard golf course, but have yet to play it.

I was talking to G4L about Renault Vineyard the other day when we played. He said it was a nice course. And not to expensive.

I've played there many times. It's a nice one, price is good. Always been in good shape when I've played it as well

Ahh, you do listen to my ramblings on the course. Yes, I played this course this past fall and it was good value for the money. Enjoyable course for sure. I don't think it has a driving range but other than that, Its definitely worth playing. McColloughs is good value too. No range there either though. I liked Twisted Dunes too. A bit more money but a good track.

I played Twisted Dunes when the last local THP outing happened (before the AC Tour Van Stop), but it was aerated to hell. But I could tell it was a good course, as long as everything didn't have holes poked into it.

I've played mccolloughs and twisted dunes at the last get together. Both are nice but I think I'd like to give Renault a try especially with the price being a little lower

As far as lodging goes, I contacted the Homewood Suites in Egg Harbor. The "group" discount wasn't very helpful but the normal rate is $169 a night. If you check now, you can pay in full in advance for $135 a night. I think that's where I am going to book it. I believe that's where alot of people stayed last time and they really enjoyed it.

If you all get together(4 or so to a room) you could probably stay in one of the AC hotels. I know for two nights I'll be staying at Harrahs for around $90. But that's with a good amount of people in the room

hahaha yeah until i don't kill it at Roulette.... i thought the buffet at the casino and gambling was a lot of fun with everyone last year AC is gonna be a blast again this year! can't wait.
