Any motorcycle owners out there?

Gave up the guns and the bikes when we started a family. Last one I owned was an 85 Shadow, sold it in 2002. Not much for new bikes. Prefer older ones with a little character, any make or model will do.

I'd love to ride, but just won't around here. Maybe in a few years if I can get to where I can ride out in the country, then I'll pick it up, but city riding is dangerous enough in a cage (as my Mustang being totalled by someone not paying attention last year shows).

I'd reallllllly love to have one of these:
07 GSXR 750 (also looks spectacular in the burnt orange from a few years later)
Triumph Daytona 675

but I'm sure I'll start out smaller (though I'd look like a gorilla on a pocket bike with a Ninja 250)

With the crazy sales going now I'm seriously considering an upgrade. The 2012 yamaha's or gixxer's for sub $10,000 is hard to pass, darn my kawasaki fandom!

I've ridden a lot of bikes on track days and that daytona 675 is easily the best ever. Those tripples are insane. I was about 3 seconds a lap quicker on the daytona than any other bike I've ridden on a track day. Next fastest was an r1 I rode on the same day.

I have a 2010 Harley Ultra Glide. Been running it like crazy this year with the crazy warm weather here in Central Ohio and the high gas prices.

The camera in this third pic is perfectly vertical. That corner is just that off camber.

Awesome stuff! How'd you like the Rev'it gear? It's hard to get here in Australia but I managed to get some shipped over (regular riding pants and jacket, adventure style) and I love their gear. Fits like a glove and is very well thought out.

The only gear better is my Rs Taichi suit, but it was twice the cost.

Sweet bike and pics! I ride a '99 Honda CBR 600 F4 and love it. I've been eyeing the BMW S1000RR after doing the California Superbike School but just can't justify the cost. Man that was a fun ride!

I have a 2003 Harley Lowrider. I ride about everyday out here unless I'm going to play golf or hit the driving range.

2009 Kawasaki klr 650 here

Some nice bikes here!

Figured I'd throw mine out there. I've had various bikes over the years...mostly Yamaha's and a couple GSXR's. Current bike is a 1999 Suzuki TL1000S. Mostly stock, except for Yoshimura slip-ons, K&N filter, Fuel Injection Remap, and a set of 1" taller Heli Bars (I'm 6'1 and the TL is pretty cramped in stock form). I also have a 1978 Yamaha SR500 Single that I've had since I was 15..I take that out maybe a couple times a year just to putt around on. And also have a 2001 Honda XR650R dirt bike but haven't been on it in about 5 years.

Here's my 2007 Heritage Softail Classic. I was taking my niece for her first ride, going down to the end of their street. Yes, we were completely ignoring Missouri's helmet law

Here was my baby, my first and only bike I ever had. I hated letting it go. A few buddies just recently bought cruisers and are trying to get me back in, but I think it will be a few years yet. If I do ever get another it will be a cruiser though.

Golfers and riders! This is an awesome thread...

<------ 2009 yamaha R6 Orange owner here ill post pics later when I get off work.

I don't ride anymore but this is my old bike (sold in 2003). The gas prices and the age of my old gas guzzling Jeep Wrangler make me wish I still had it.

I'd love to get a bike, but the people around here are too stupid for me to risk my life by riding around them. Maybe in a few years though.

Got my license last summer but have yet to buy a bik. Got close a couple of times but with saving for a house and wanting new golf gear I have pushed it back at least another year. Looking for a commuter bike to get cut down on gas costs.

Here's my 09 R6...looking to start track days this Aug/Sept.
