At the ripe old age of 67 I finally had my first HIO, it was in the weekly scramble at Lake Jonesco on the same hole Ole Gray has 2. When I hit the ball everyone was yelling that one is close. After about a 4 foot roll I looked at one of the guys and said that went in, he said yes it did. I was actually more in shock that elated as I had pretty much given up on ever having one. They all commented that that was the most calm they had ever seen anyone who just had an ace, especially when it is their first.

We won the scramble and I also got both close ups, I was a foot short of going in on #16, they were hollering again and I was wondering if I was going to have a Brian Harman type of day, lol. Here are a few pics of my big day.

I was the same way when I got mine. I thought, "Ah...they never go in." When it did, the guy that was with me was far more excited than I was.
