Expensive as hell to publish any sort of magazine, hope it works out for you.
 
It is expensive, but the companies we work with all came through with ads, which is wonderful. We sold 86% of the ads in just 24 hours.
 
I can't wait to see the final product.

I thought you said you watched Versus, Harry? I swear I've seen all of those advertised on that channel when watching it at night. Or on MTV/VH1.
 
And congrats on the quarterly magazine. Looking forward to when the subscription information comes out!

Only occasionally. Like when the show college football. (Which is why I am currently annoyed with DTV and Vs. - my team is on Versus in 2 weeks.)

IMO the reason I was drawn to this forum was because of the:
1.Civility
2.Knowledge
3.Maturity
4.Not sponsored by any OEM so reviews are as untainted as they can be

SO I hope yall can keep this up because it is quite refreshing to see, especially in the world of blogging these days!

Thank you. The guy behind that cover is a great design guy that also designs some pretty amazing golf clothes.

Being that the first issue will be limited, it will only be available at this site, and a select few golf courses (Club Corp).

The 2nd issue will be nationally distributed through a very large book store.
 
I'm looking forward to getting the first issue. Great idea! Wow!
 
JB, if this isn't asking you to give away too much, what are you doing for content?
 
The first issue is our year end award nomination issue. We will also have a select few articles in the first issue. However the first issue is a shorter publication and is something that is for the most part for our award nominations.

Starting with the spring issues we have pages full of content that we have outlined and are ready to work with.
 
In less than one full week of being announced, we sold out our advertising entirely for this issue. Not a bad start and we are on track and maybe slightly ahead (so far) of our 12/1 release.
 
JB, congrats and best of luck. We are all pulling hard for you!
