I was looking at the Pit Boss ones, decent reviews too.

You know me, I like bells and whistles though hahaha

Pit Boss Classic has virtually the same internals as Traeger.
You can get a lot of aftermarket bells and whistles. Like our Meater Block is just a bad ass accessory.

All things considered, The Grilla hands down due to the double walled insulation.
We have Grilla and Traeger and prefer the Grilla.

The double wall is what I keep coming back to comparing them. Seems to just be a big boon to the design.

I donít need the Traeger name, so itís all about best all around that will last. Seems the new controller on the Alpha is getting some solid reviews too.

I love my egg, but itís become basically a grill and pizza producer for me because with the circus here at home I donít have the time to obsessively monitor it like needed, pellet just seems a good way to go to balance that a bit more and still enjoy the process.

When we are doing a long cook we always go Grilla because it holds temp so much better due to the double wall insulation. However, if you are on a budget the Pit Boss is still an excellent machine, and I honestly wish we would have saved the money and gotten that instead of the Traeger at twice the cost. Either way, you can't go wrong.

And that deal at BJ's Wholesale for about $200 gets a pretty solid unit too.
Saves some cash for some killer Iberico pork ordering haha
