Ping Serial Numbers

Howdy All,

Merry Christmas to One and All !!!

I'd Ordered a set of Ping G30 Irons 6-SW and
a 3H and 4H 7 weeks ago, finally all the clubs
were together today at the Golf Shop. I don't know
why they all weren't made together, especially after
calling Ping Customer Service 2 times during the wait
only to find out that there weren't any backorders for heads or shafts.
I never got a reply after each call to Ping to find out why my Clubs
weren't being completed together since the Shop I ordered from
didn't have any answers. I have to say, it didn't give me a warm
fuzzy feeling from Ping.

So my question, I didn't notice till I got the Clubs home and removed
the Head Covers on the 2 Hybrids that they have a different Serial Numbers than
my Irons.

I was under the impression when I special ordered the set
that all clubs would have the same serial number? So, any one know if the Hybrids
should or should not have the same serial number as the other 8 Clubs.

I have always been of the impression from my experience with Ping clubs, that only the irons would have the same numbers and everything else would have something different. When I look back at my records for my last Ping clubs, my irons all had the same numbers but the 3 hybrids I ordered at the same time all had different numbers as did the 3 wood and driver.

I believe matching serial numbers only applies to irons.

This is is my understanding as well.

These were my Retirement Clubs, and it just seemed like
there were too many little things going wrong kind of
